The Moon Project
Equality led, needs-based bespoke therapeutic provision
The Moon Project is an innovative programme which provides a combination of therapeutic services, enrichment activities and family support. Our programme is based on using a shared decision making tool meaning that each young person’s programme is bespoke and based on individual need and personal preference.
We believe all children and young people should be able to aim for the stars!
We undertake a holistic child and family-centred assessment to understand individual experiences and need. This ensures that our provision responds to individual need and prioritises children and families’ voices. Once funding is in place for the child, we deliver a bespoke therapeutic programme which can consist of:
Therapy including a wide range of therapeutic pathways including creative and animal therapies.
Access to enrichment programmes for example, swimming or gymnastic lessons.
Access to enrichment packs with resources to enjoy as a family.
Support with accessing basic needs, such as children’s clothes.
