At Cambridge Acorn Project, we offer bespoke therapeutic services to children and families who have experienced trauma and are facing financial hardship. Our services can include long-term therapy, enrichment opportunities, participating in school projects and afterschool groups, supporting parents with life-admin, and maintaining safe homes. Please note that submitting this form is considered only as an inquiry. We will use the information provided to undertake a triage process to establish whether we are able to accept a referral and provide services.
We kindly ask that you complete this form as fully as possible in order for us to effectively triage your inquiry. Since we are grant funded, we ask you to please share any known funding possibilities to support the child or young person, for example, Pupil Premium (and Pupil Premium Plus), and school funding, including EHCPs, local authority funding, or any other known funding possibilities.
Before submitting the form, please ensure that you have consent for the person/family you are requesting support on behalf of.
Please note:
Cambridge Acorn Project is a charity that offers therapeutic services to children and families who have experienced trauma and are facing financial hardship. If parents/carers are able to afford private services, we will be unable to accept the referral, as we do not offer private services and cannot charge parents/carers directly for our work.
We do not operate in Fenland or Peterborough, so if the child/family you are requesting support for lives in those areas, unfortunately, we won't be able to accept the referral.
We’ll be happy to signpost you elsewhere or provide further information. In that case, please do not submit this form; instead, feel free to email us at info@cambridgeacornproject.org.uk
If the family is facing financial hardship, they have experienced trauma, are within our catchment area, and you have consent to request support and share information on their behalf, please go ahead and submit this form.
