Thomas Williams
Thomas joined Cambridge Acorn Project as a trustee in August 2023 and is passionate about supporting young people and tackling inequality. Heralding from a rural part of the North East of England, one of the most deprived areas of the country, Thomas understands the importance of CAP's work and is committed to aiding and improving it's design and delivery.
Thomas brings experience from the charitable sector through his work as Programmes and Development Manager at Cause4, a social enterprise which works to support organisations working across the charity, education, sports and arts sectors. Prior to this, Thomas worked for St Catharine’s College, Cambridge as External Partnerships and Outreach Officer, collaborating with schools and charities to support students thinking about and applying to higher education institutions.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in History from the University of Cambridge and is a keen swimmer and badminton player in his free time.
